I ordered a set of stools from this company and, unfortunately, the quality did not meet my expectations. They feel quite lightweight and not particularly sturdy, and one of the stools arrived damaged.
This experience has made me cautious about purchasing larger items from them. I was also disappointed with the return policy, as only a partial refund is offered, which doesn't seem proportionate given the condition and quality concerns.

Deliberately Deceptive and False Return Policy.

Deceptively false advertising and site practices. Buyer please beware, they are not a trustworthy company.
I read the return policy which clearly stated the item I was purchasing was 100% returnable. Never would have bought it other wise. The item's page also said returnable. On initiating purchase said returnable for a 3rd time.
It is only as you add your item to cart that a tiny message blinks and come up as you are shooting the offer off and it's far too late to do anything about the situation. This is dishonest and you can't do a thing. I am on a limited income and scrimp and save for a splurge like this and now am stuck with a nearly $300 scratchy horrible pillow that I detest and they refuse to take back. No one would want to use this ugly poor quality scratchy pillow.
It feels like sand paper or a cheese grater. It serves no purpose and is not like a pillow.
They were completely unresponsive regarding their deceptive advertising practices and clearly know exactly what they are doing as their CS rep said it is repeatedly an issue. I was gearing up to buy a sofa and curtains from them that I have saved and saved for, no way at this point. I will never buy another thing from them.
Not a nice company.
Shop with reliable businesses that stand by their written policies and products, not one that places deceptive marketing at the forefront of what they do. I have lost all respect for this company.

No one helped me someone was going to call me never did. I reached out to wayfair and they helped. You did nothing poor customer service

Cb2 and Costco both had the same situation ( delivered to me and there was a Labor Day sale within the next couple days) and they fairly credited me.
I feel taken and swindled.

Got zero help I wasted an hour and a half trying to reach a human not wasting any more of my time and energy. This has been the most infuriating, frustrating communication failure on Perigolds part and proves you do not care about customer service will not order through you again

- - Perigold advertised a faux floral centerpiece in a gold planter for $192.00.
- - The price doubles in cart; reps promised a call but none was received.
I got absolutely nowhere and they keep advertising the same centerpiece at a certain price but when you put it in your cart, the price doubled! I finally gave up and ordered a different centerpiece from a different website.
Ive called several times, i sent pictures of the emails i am receiving showing the item and the price. They claim its the wrong price and there is a glitch in the computer. This is not an acceptable reason and i should be able to.order it at the price shown on my email. A representative was suppose to call me in reference to this and never did.
I have never dealt with Perigold but i have dealt with Wayfair many times and never a problem.
If i dont hear back from someone soon, i am.contacting the BBB and other agencies i have researched that deal with false advertising. Thank you and hopefully this can be resolved soon.

The cord to the pendant lights were different colors. The one cord was a silver gray the other cord was a pewter so when hanging the difference in color is very noticeable.

I am so frustrated with Perigold. I did not like the way one of my orders was handled. And I am trying to unsubscribe from all the emails, but it is a convoluted process and very frustrating.

- - FedEx lost the package and Perigold did not notify me; refund or replacement offered.
- - Agent was unhelpful and refused to escalate to a supervisor.
Apparently, Fed ex lost one of the packages. Weeks later with fed ex web not updating delivery date, i called perigold to be told the package was lost.
But no one from perigold had notified me. I should not have had to call. Customer service says that perigold does not manage fedex and i can be refunded or a new order placed. But, i would wait 2 months for the replacement and perigold would not expedite because i was told this was a fed ex problem.
Not only was this poor general customer service, but the agent was awful and kept saying not her problem. I asked to speak to supervisor and she told he that there was no point as he would tell me the same thing. Then she put me on hold for five minutes to then say that if I really wanted to speak to him, he would, but he told her to tell me h the same thing.
Basically, they made it clear that I was privileged to order from Perigold... And BTW, I told her that I would yelp all over the place their bad service and she said ok!

Inconsistent quality
- - Backordered nearly 3 months.
- - One stool OK; other two defective.
- - Final replacement arrived; service was helpful, but the process was inconvenient.
I ordered three identical stools for my kitchen bar area. They were back ordered for almost 3 months.
ROUND ONE: When they finally came 1 was fine, 1 had a broken leg, and 1 had a tilted seat (welded on at a 20% angle and not possible to adjust it.) I complained and they sent me labels to return the 2 bad items.
ROUND TWO: I got two replacement stools.
1 was fine. The other had a seat welded on at an angle AGAIN. I returned it again.
ROUND THREE: I got one replacement stool. It was also welded on at an angle.
Unusable.
ROUND FOUR: I just got a replacement today.
Finally, after many trips to FedEx and many phone calls. Although their customer service was nice, accessible and supportive, the whole thing was unnecessarily inconvenient.
User's recommendation: Although I think Perigold may have some good merchandise, this taught me that they use some questionable overseas suppliers who do not produce consistent quality. These stools were from India as it turned out. Clearly the maker had unskilled people who didn't know how to weld a seat onto the shaft of a stool.

Horrific Customer Service
- - Chandelier delivered broken.
- - A replacement chandelier arrived but stopped working.
- - Six weeks later notes exist on the account and no resolution.
1. Chandelier delivered broken.
2. New Candelier delivered. 3. New Chandelier stops working.
4. Call Customer Service - Told they will replace. 5. No email confirmation of call.
6. Call again. Same. 7.
Call again . Same. 8. Call again.
same 9. Today (six weeks after first call on latest issue) Had to explain the issue all over again.- Even thought they acknowledge their are notes on the account. - Then told they have to call the manufacturer to see if Chandelier ( which is still available on their website) is still being manufactured...
I am screaming with frustration. Unbelievably bad.
